Creating and capturing a really good portrait is one of my chief joys in life. I'm satisfied that I have captured a good portrait when I look a the image and am able to say, yes that is who that person is, at that time. I spend a lot of time photographing families and friends, and I am often touched to see that closeness and warmth captured.
